Mike's Blog Round Up
November 16, 2016

Welcome to hump day, Crooks and Liars! I think Lefty Blogtopia is getting its mojo back after last week's shock — if today's links are any indication.

Infidel753 has an Electoral College action. Let's give him a hand!

The Broad Side tells us what it means to be a Nasty Woman: it is not only a woman’s right, but also her obligation, to speak unburdened. Brava!

Badtux The Snarky Penguin explains to us why we liberals do not have to do any outreach with the rural white working class. (Hey, did anyone know that BadTux went to high school with The Rude Pundit? That school must have a @#$%ing amazing language arts curriculum!)

Fellow Crook and Liar Michael Stickings (who posts in this spot frequently) forwarded this feature-length version of Pink Floyd's The Wall that has been re-imagined with Donald Trump. It's a long watch, but so very powerful. Stickings also reminds us that Pink Floyd's Roger Waters has no love lost for Trump, either.

Bonus Track: And speaking of Trump's wall, the Banksy of L.A. Plastic Jesus had an art action on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Yes, it is a fabulous wall, complete with barbed wire! Let's hope Trump doesn't get out!

Round-up by Tengrain who blogs at Mock, Paper, Scissors. You can follow Tengrain on the Twitters, too. Send tips, requests, and suggestions to mbru@crooksandliars.com (with For MBRU in the subject line).

Can you help us out?

For nearly 20 years we have been exposing Washington lies and untangling media deceit, but now Facebook is drowning us in an ocean of right wing lies. Please give a one-time or recurring donation, or buy a year's subscription for an ad-free experience. Thank you.
