The situation with Syria is escalating and somewhat out of control, following Trump's ill advised, hastily planned bombing that raises more questions. Oh, and it cost the U.S. about $100M dollars to fire off 59 tomahawk missiles that basically did basically no damage.

In fact, the Syrians were using the "demolished" airport within hours to launch more airstrikes against the same city they bombed with chemicals earlier in the week. Let's not even talk about a lack of future plan on how to deal with Syria.

U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley was on CNN this morning to talk about the airstrikes and future next steps on how to deal with Assad. She had harsh words:

“We don’t see a peaceful Syria with Assad in there.”

What does that mean? Well, she elaborated:

“There is not any sort of option where a political solution’s gonna happen with Assad at the head of the regime.”

Tapper asked her if that means we needed a regime change, which would be a departure from previous stance on Syria.

Her response:

“Regime change is something that we think is going to happen because all of the parties are going to see that Assad’s not the leader that needs to be taking place for Syria.”

Let's see how this plays out with Assad's best buddy, Putin. Trump can't do anything without orders from HIS boss, Putin.
