I've been called many things in my lifetime, but nothing quite as colorful as when I started writing about politics.

America hater, n*&erlover, f*ggot, anti-American socialist Marxist scum, etc...

These are the typical offensive slurs we all receive, but over time they've only gotten worse.

I dare not post the really, really disgusting ones for it will curdle your bones. Your eyes would bulge out of your head and you'd know how the victims in David Cronenberg's Scanners felt after their heads exploded.

But they haven't been able to stop us here at C&L.
