Guess who funded the original Fusion GPS oppo research that turned up the Trump Russia dossier? The Washington Free Beacon!

That's right, this Washington Free Beacon:

Matthew Continetti (Bill Kristol's son-in-law) and Michael Goldfarb released this statement last night that basically says, "Yeah, so what?"

The Beacon has never identified its wealthy funder, but last night the New York Times reported that the publication is funded largely by conservative hedge-fund billionaire Paul Singer. Singer backed Marco Rubio in the Republican primary.
