C&L's Sat Nite Chiller Theater: Murder By Contract (1958)

One of Martin Scorcese's favorites, and it's easy to see why he loves it.

This is one of the films that Martin Scorsese cites as having a profound influence on his career, and you can see why. From the camera work to the dialogue to the musical score, director Irving Lerner makes excellent use of his shoestring budget to tell a "terrific, no-nonsense B-movie".
