'Occupy Hart': Federal Workers Protest Trump Shutdown

In the Senate Office Building, federal workers hold up empty plates and stage a silent vigil to demand Senate Republicans do their job and end the Trump shutdown.

If you are so unfortunate as to be "represented" by a Republican Senator, please make a phone call today.

This morning protestors representing hundreds of thousands of federal workers held 33 minutes of silent protest in Hart Senate Office Building -- one for each day of shutdown. Federal workers from various unions held plates as signs, to show the need to feed their families.
