'Occupy Hart': Federal Workers Protest Trump Shutdown

In the Senate Office Building, federal workers hold up empty plates and stage a silent vigil to demand Senate Republicans do their job and end the Trump shutdown.

This morning protestors representing hundreds of thousands of federal workers held 33 minutes of silent protest in Hart Senate Office Building -- one for each day of shutdown. Federal workers from various unions held plates as signs, to show the need to feed their families.
