Ron Johnson accuses his opponent of being a "Russian tool" because he was on RT once, forgets his own past four years.
October 18, 2022

Seven years ago, then a Wisconsin Assemblyman, Mandela Barnes was on RT a few times, criticizing police brutality. It was a time when Putin was trying to flame the racial divide in the United States. Ron Johnson clutched his pearls to his bosom and swooned on his fainting couch over this:

Johnson's campaign blasted Barnes for his appearances on RT.

"Trashing American law enforcement on Russian state TV and allowing himself to be used by Vladimir Putin’s propagandists is as bad as it gets," said Alec Zimmerman, spokesman for Johnson.

"Lt. Gov. Barnes knew he was being used as a puppet for a foreign dictator in a Russian disinformation scheme, and he should apologize to law enforcement in Wisconsin and across America."

RoJo doubled down on this during an appearance on Fox.

In related news, it was learned that RoJo doesn't own a mirror and conveniently had a memory lapse for the past four years.

It was only four years ago that RoJo spent the Fourth of July holiday with seven other Republican senators in the warm embrace of Vladimir Putin. RoJo took a break barely long enough to send his "patriotic" thoughts back home before completing his indoctrination into Russian propaganda. And just five days later, fresh from his junket to Mother Russia, RoJo started dutifully spewing said Russian propaganda, claiming Russia wasn't a threat to our democracy.

Two years later, and we find that RoJo is still doing the bidding of his BFF Putin, by continuing to push it on national TV as well as abusing his chairmanship to meet Putin's orders.

And just a couple of months ago, he has given people no reason to doubt that he is a Russian asset and was complaining that it was hurting his campaign.

A word of advice for RoJo - you should have just said nyet.
