After suggesting on Sunday that Joe Biden committed treason, Fox News was in quite a pickle when news broke Tuesday that Mike Pence also had some classified documents in his house which, like Biden’s, were promptly returned.
So, what’s a propaganda network to do when one of its own just committed the same “outrage” as its uber-target?
If you’re host Jesse Watters, you signal that Pence should have destroyed the documents, or just kept his mouth shut.
Here’s Watters and his pals admitting that Fox’s interest in the Biden story is all about harming his politics and nothing at all about classified material: “Pence, seriously, we have this great thing going with Joe,” Watters said. His cohosts formed a Greek chorus of agreement: “And you just ruined it!” Greg Gutfeld shouted. “You did!” Jeanine Pirro howled.
“Come on, man!” Watters said.
“Now what are we gonna do?” Gutfeld yelled.
“And then he confessed to it. He could’ve just destroyed it, we never would've known,” Watters said. “Now we have to show both sides!”
