On Friday, footage of the extremely disturbing hammer attack on Paul Pelosi was released, in addition to the audio of Mr. Pelosi's phone call to the police after David DePape smashed through the Pelosis' back door to harm Nancy Pelosi who was out of town at the time. And now, the 18-minute jailhouse interview that took place shortly after his arrest has been released, too.

DePape said that he planned to hold Nancy Pelosi hostage because he was outraged over lies that she and Democrats had spread about former President Donald Trump.

"It originates with Hillary, but like Pelosi ran with the lie as much as or more than anyone. Honestly, like, day in day out, the person who was on the TV lying everyday was Pelosi," DePape said during the interrogation.

DePape went through a list of right-wing conspiracy theories and told the police that he intended to force Nancy Pelosi to renounce her lies. And if she didn't cooperate, he wanted to break her calves.

"If she told the truth, I would let her go scot-free," DePape said. "If she fucking lied, I was going to break her calves."

DePape repeated Trump's wild-eyed claim that Democrats stole the 2020 presidential election. He suggested that Hillary Clinton and Pelosi had plotted to spy on Trump's campaign.

"They are criminals. Not only were they spying on a rival campaign," DePape said. "They were submitting fake evidence to spy on a rival campaign, covering it up, persecuting the rival campaign. It's just like an endless fucking crime spree."

"It's just like the whole fucking four years until they were finally able to steal the election," he added.

Republicans owe the Pelosis an apology. We know it won't happen because we've learned how cruel they can be.
