Controversial Rep. Marjorie Taylor Whatshername weighed in after the alleged Chinese spy balloon was successfully shot down on Saturday right as it went over the east coast. Of course, Marge seems to think that former President Donald Trump would have taken care of the problem asap.

Marge claims that Trump would have "never allowed China to fly a spy balloon over our country," even though Chinese spy planes flew over our airspace during the one-term president's brief tenure in office.

Some Twitter users gave her a history lesson, while others just mocked her.

Even one of her fans thought her tweet was ridiculously stupid.

Trump supporters like to prop up the one-term president as some sort of alpha male where no world leaders would dare to intrude on our airspace. He's an alpha, damn you! He is an alpha male who wears a girdle and lifts to appear taller, but he's a manly man.

Via Forbes:

And all of this still leaves open the possibility that other adversary aircraft have flown over the U.S. during the Trump years, aside from balloons. We still don't know why swarms of drones were flying over Colorado and Nebraska in December 2019 and January 2020. If you'll recall, President Trump was president at that time and we never got an answer to who was behind that.

And no one is surprised.
