Donald Trump is running for the GOP nomination for President again, and his latest message is disturbing, so we're sure he once more will fit in well with the Republican Party. And it's a cruel message, so Republicans will like it.

"We will ban urban camping wherever possible," the twice impeached, one-term, indicted President said. "Violators of these bans will be arrested, but they will be given the option to accept treatment and services if they're willing to be rehabilitated."

"Many of them don't want that, but we'll give them the option." he continued.

"We will then open up large parcels of inexpensive land, bring in doctors, psychiatrists, social workers, and drug rehab specialists, and create tent cities where the homeless can be relocated and their problems identified," Bloaty McBatshit added. "But we'll open up our cities again, make them livable, and make them beautiful."

This has all been done before, and it was a terrible idea. Shanty towns built for people experiencing homelessness were called "Hoovervilles" during the Great Depression. They were named after Herbert Hoover, the President, as the Depression kicked in.

Back then, though, there wasn't a drug epidemic. The total number of Veterans who experienced homelessness in 2022 was 33,129, so I guess Trump would force them into an encampment— and the mentally ill. I'm sure there will be some mighty fine living in Trumpsville.

I'm sure Trump has never missed a meal and he clearly lacks empathy for anyone. First, treat people experiencing homelessness like human beings instead of outcasts. Each case is different. If they're on drugs, they'll need treatment. They might need some training to gain employment if they are out of a job. Does anyone really believe that Trump cares about homeless individuals?
