Axios is reporting that on Wednesday Fox News contacted Tucker Carlson's lawyers and told them the former Fox News host is in breach of his contract because he launched his own twitter show.
"Shortly after Carlson posted the first episode of his new show on Twitter Tuesday evening, Fox News general counsel Bernard Gugar sent a letter to Carlson’s lawyers saying Carlson "is in breach" of his contract agreement."
"It adds that Carlson's contract says he is "prohibited from rendering services of any type whatsoever, whether 'over the internet via streaming or similar distribution, or other digital distribution whether now known or hereafter devised.'"
As usual, MAGA idiots were outraged.
MAGA creeps scream about law and order except when it affects them. if Fox is planning to sideline him until 2025, if that's the contract he signed and terms he agreed to in order to make megamillions, then so be it.
For his part, Carlson is firing back with a disingenuous claim that his 10-minute video was just a post on social media and if Fox News bars him from that, they're trampling on his right to free speech. Since his speech on Fox News for ten minutes of time cost them tens of thousands of dollars every night, he might not have much of a case, but you just never know.
