Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis took to Twitter to try to win over Trump voters by blasting the indictment that was handed down by a jury of the former President's peers as his campaign struggles. However, ol' Puddin' Fingers admitted that he hadn't read the 45-page indictment.

"As President, I will end the weaponization of government, replace the FBI Director, and ensure a single standard of justice for all Americans," DeSantis tweeted, even though Trump appointed the FBI director.

"While I've seen reports, I have not read the indictment," he continued. "I do, though, believe we need to enact reforms so that Americans have the right to remove cases from Washington, DC to their home districts."

"Washington, DC is a "swamp" and it is unfair to have to stand trial before a jury that is reflective of the swamp mentality," he added. "One of the reasons our country is in decline is the politicization of the rule of law. No more excuses—I will end the weaponization of the federal government."

The problem with this country is that rich and powerful men get away with illegal behavior -- until now. We'll see where this goes with Trump when his self-entitled ass lands in court.

DeSantis borrowed Trump's 'swamp' rhetoric while admitting that he and the thrice-indicted former President are part of the swamp because they feel they're above the law. And DeSantis is too much of a coward to campaign against Trump. And DeSantis is an attorney, so he should know that the grand jury heard the case in D.C. because that's where the crime took place.
