Neil Cavuto is not just a Fox News and Fox Business Network host but he’s also a senior vice president. So, you know he doesn’t dis Republicans without careful thought.
But Cavuto sounded pretty ticked off that he had spent “the better part of six hours” watching the hearing which turned up zip, nada, bupkis of what the Republicans have been hyping.
“I don’t know what was achieved over these last six-plus hours,” Cavuto groused even before he had introduced himself at the beginning of his show. Then he called out committee chairman James Comer. He had promised “a mountain of evidence” against President Biden, Cavuto said, but “none of the witnesses [who] testified today have direct knowledge of what Republicans have been claiming about Joe Biden.”
“The way this was built up, where there's smoke, there will be fire,” Cavuto continued. “But whether it's smoke today, we just got a lot more smoke.”
“The best they could say now, after this six-plus hours of testimony, back and forth, is that they're going to try to get more bank records from Joe Biden and his son,” Cavuto added. “Even though this occurs after months of Republican probes that failed to provide anything resembling concrete evidence.”
Good to know there’s at least one truthtelling host left at Fox.
