It's always a pleasure to watch a person doing what they are good at and enjoying themselves doing it.
As an example of this would be Representative Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) who had his moment during the sham GOP impeachment hearing.
After Representative James Comer, chairman of this impeachment shitshow, recognized Moskowitz, he immediately went into it like a human ripsaw.
COMER: Mr. Moskowitz, it's your lucky day. You have five minutes and twenty seconds.
MOSKOWITZ: Thank you, Mr. Chairman. I think it's your lucky day.
What a day we are having here, isn't it? Listen, as a former director of emergency management, I know a disaster when I see one. If you don't believe me, just ask Steve Bannon. Steve Bannon, that's your guy, just went on and said...
COMER: Who's guy is Steve Bannon?
MOSKOWITZ: Yeah, well, you know who Steve Bannon is. He just went on and said that perhaps the Republicans shouldn't have started with a witness -who he was talking about Professor Turley - who was going to say right of the bat that there wasn't an impeachable offense. I quote, "Perhaps we should have put him on the maybe list of witnesses." Your other witness, Ms. O'Connor, gave a complete recitation of the last nine months, eight months, of these hearings. She gave some of the greatest hits that have come out, everything that has been presented. Both in these committees we've been having, TV, all of the evidence. that you guys have been presenting for the last eight months. All of that together and what does Professor Turley say? He says that everything we know at this juncture doesn't rise to the level of impeachment. Boy, that is awkward! I mean it's like political impeachment malpractice.
It is unfortunate that they kept the camera focused on Moskowitz the entire time. It would have been entertaining to see how some of the Republicans were reacting to their daylong humiliation.
