While some on Fox News and the right-wine mediasphere might have had to choke out the good news of November's job data on their shows, Fox Business's Stuart Varney did not hold back in singing Bidenomics' praises. One hundred ninety-nine thousand jobs were added in November with unemployment falling to 3.7%. It is the 23rd straight month of unemployment under 4% and the 35th consecutive month of job growth. There is nothing bad about those numbers, and we're headed into the holidays.
"It's a resilient labor market," Varney told Ainsley Earhardt. "And President Biden is gonna talk about this at some point today because these are good numbers for Bidenomics – 199,000 jobs added to the economy. It's a bit more than expected. There's resilience there."
'The unemployment down to 3.7%. He'll tout that, big time, because he'll say, 'That's Bidenomics at work.' And that is, historically, a very low unemployment rate,"' he continued.
"Is it because of Christmas?" Earhardt asked. "More people are working in shops?"
Varney swatted her down, explaining that the retail jobs figure was actually lower than expected. Good try, though, Ains!
"It just came in at 28,000 new retail jobs," Varney explained. "That's very weak for this time of year. The other side of the coin is that you're probably looking at no rate cuts from the Federal Reserve in the early part of next year because this shows strength in the labor market, strength in the economy."
Bidenomics is working. Don't believe me? Ask Fox News. The data is so good that they can't spin it. It sure beats Reaganomics where nothing ever trickled down. This is happening in real-time while Biden is still in office.
