Considering a vote for Robert Kennedy Jr.? It's crucial to understand that RFK Jr. is not just any candidate but a dangerous one who could help Trump win. The fact that his two biggest campaign donors are his running mate and Timothy Mellon, who is also a huge donor to Donald Trump, raises serious concerns. Kennedy's campaign is not about his political agenda but actively undermining Biden's chances, a threat that cannot be ignored.

RFK Jr. is a Spoiler Candidate

On May 26, journalist Brian Taylor Cohen interviewed RFK Jr. and it's one of the best I've seen. Cohen tweeted a clip from the interview.
Cohen: "Timothy Mellon has given $25 million to a super PAC supporting you AND $25 million to Trump-affiliated super PAC, which gives the appearance that Trump's donors want you on the ballot to serve as a spoiler candidate..."

@RobertKennedyJr : "I'm not sure what point you're trying to get at--"

Cohen: "I think the point is obvious: if you have a Trump donor who's also propping up a super PAC affiliated with you, it would suggest that person wants you on the ballot to benefit Donald Trump."

Watch the entire interview on YouTube.

In addition to the financial ties between Trump and Kennedy, there's more evidence that the third-party candidate is running to ensure a Trump victory. In a video surfacing in April, RFK Jr.'s New York state director, Rita Palma, encouraged voters to campaign for Donald Trump. This clearly indicates Kennedy's direct ties to Trump's campaign, which could hurt President Biden. Another example of Trump-Kennedy alignment? RFK Jr.'s campaign recently hired MAGA social influencer Zach Henry. NBC News reported the extreme right-wing social star worked for Republican Vivek Ramaswamy's presidential campaign, and Henry was at the January 6 insurrection.

Finally, the Kennedy family does not endorse RFK Jr. for president. The candidate's family and friends want him to stop his presidential campaign because they are afraid it will elect Trump and lead to the downfall of democracy. Even if you don't care about Kennedy being a spoiler for Biden, many of his views are irrational.

Kennedy's World Views Are Alarming

Kennedy believes many easily disproven conspiracy theories. Forbes reported on some (but not all) of the conspiracies he promotes including:

  • Vaccines cause autism
  • COVID-19 targets White and Black races and gives some races immunity
  • Mass shootings are due to prescription drugs

Journalist David Corn did a deep dive into Robert Kennedy Jr.'s conspiracy theories. Corn wrote, "The full depth of his battiness is getting lost in the political coverage of his presidential bid." Corn's article is a must-read and reveals that the candidate believes some of the internet's craziest conspiracy theories. But there is real harm done by Kennedy's misinformation.

@DecodingFoxNews tweeted that vaccine specialist Dr. Paul Offit says RFK Jr. is "directly responsible for the deaths of 83 people in Samoa," because of his anti-vaccination efforts.

Pete Maysmith at the League of Conservation Voters told Politico, "For those voters who aren't paying full attention yet, we must make clear that voting for Kennedy is throwing your vote away," Maysmith added. "What we're seeing so far is that when voters hear even just a little about his extreme positions, they are a lot less interested."

In addition to the candidate's views, on May 8, Kennedy claimed that a worm ate part of his brain. Reuters reported the brain worm news after a 2012 deposition from Kennedy's second divorce was made public. The outlet noted that RFK Jr. "argued his earning power had been diminished by his cognitive struggles." Call me crazy, but if you are having cognitive issues, becoming president of the United States might not be a good job.

RFK Jr. is Very Shady

William J.H. Boetcker said, "A man is judged by the company he keeps," and Kennedy's associations raise serious concerns. Here's a photo from 2023 of candidate Kennedy with two of the most controversial Trump allies, Mike Flynn and Roger Stone. According to The Daily Beast, GOP operative Steve Bannon encouraged Kennedy to run for president.

Besides his friends, the presidential candidate has a scandalous and dark personal history.

In 2013, People reported about the suicide death of RFK Jr.'s wife Mary Richardson Kennedy. The details surrounding the couple's custody battle and the candidate's serial cheating and cruel behavior toward his wife are disturbing. Brian Cohen Tyler called out the candidate in a recent interview that
"RFK Jr. has pointed to mercury poisoning/brain worms as a legal basis not to pay spousal support..."

Kennedy's actions surrounding his wife's suicide, along with his history of drug abuse, should make him a non-starter in the presidential race.
