The liars on Fox not "news" resorted to tired attacks on Sen. Richard Blumenthal to pretend the horrid conditions the service members on the USS Lincoln are experiencing aren't really happening.
As we've already discussed here, things are going so badly with Trump's Iran war that we've seen multiple troops throwing themselves overboard in a desperate effort to end their horrific deployment. And it's not just the USS Lincoln.
As The Meidas Touch Network just reported: Not Just the Lincoln: Families Describe Human Waste, No Food, No End in Sight Across Multiple Ships:
Since MeidasTouch began reporting on conditions aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, messages have poured in to MeidasTouch from military families and service members across multiple ships and even multiple branches. Taken together, they paint a picture of a crisis that extends well beyond a single carrier. All sources below are being kept anonymous to protect them and their loved ones from retaliation.
Go read the rest of their report, which details the conditions our service members are dealing with that they've documented.
So how are the liars on Fox dealing with this? Denial, of course.
On this Friday's Fox News @ Night, guest host Mike Emanuel asked TikTok influencer turned RFK Jr. aide Link Lauren for his thoughts on what was happening on the USS Lincoln. After accusing Blumenthal of lying about what's happening on these ships, Lauren ridiculously asserted that the solution to all of this would be for Trump to start touting what the members of our military are being fed on our bases.
Fox also cherry-picked a very small portion of an interview with a father of someone on the USS Lincoln on CNN and took what he said out of context, along with ignoring every other report that's been coming out of there that contradicts what they chose to air. No one who watches this propaganda network should be surprised by this:
EMANUEL: Here's the father of a sailor and Senator Richard Blumenthal on conditions on board the USS Abraham Lincoln.
BLUMENTHAL: I would be angry beyond words if my son or daughter were on that ship without what they need to do their jobs.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: As far as my particular child, I've heard pretty positive feedback about the conditions there. [...] Food quality apparently has gone up and down, and I understand that that's to be expected.
EMANUEL: How do you assess this one, Link?
LAUREN: Well, you know, it's interesting. I live and breathe political media. I have seen Richard Blumenthal on television every single night this week using these troops as a political talking point.
And this is Rich coming from Blumenthal, who lied about serving in Vietnam! This is a big fat liar, Senator Blumenthal. Okay?
You have egg on your face, and shame on you for using these hardworking men and women, these war fighters, for political talking points going into the midterms.
If I were President Trump right now, what I would advise him to do is this.
He and Secretary Kennedy just introduced new healthy food to five military bases. They're rolling it out to more military bases, real food for our men and women in uniform.
That is something no other administration has done, and it's been swept under the rug. The only network that's covered it is this one, bringing real food to our troops who serve our country.
If something went amiss on this ship, I have every faith he will rectify it. Joe Biden checked his watch as troops were coming home. He didn't care about the troops in Afghanistan. President Trump couldn't be more the opposite.
"If something went amiss." This liar knows full well something definitely went more than "amiss." Here's to hoping lightning strikes him the next time he opens his lying mouth. Shame on him for diminishing what these cretins are doing to the people who are out there serving our country, who don't deserve this treatment, and are stuck on these ships while Trump continues to destroy what's left of our military.
