MAGA Rep. Mike Collins, who is running against Jon Ossoff for the Senate in Georgia, pretends he just found out he's surrounded by white nationalists.

The Ossoff campaign has rightfully been slamming Collins in recent weeks: Georgia senator Jon Ossoff slams racist posts allegedly from Republican opponent’s ex-staffer:

The US senator for Georgia Jon Ossoff, a Democrat, has slammed a “disgraceful and disqualifying” report that a former staffer for his Trump-backed Republican challenger Mike Collins shared images online of a swastika and depicting himself in Ku Klux Klan robes.

It is the latest instance of someone in Collins’s orbit facing scrutiny over racist or white nationalist conduct. Ossoff called the report “stunning” and said it “should shock the conscience of every Georgian”.

The report “confirmed yet more extensive ties between Congressman Mike Collins and white nationalism, and Congressman Mike Collins and neo-Nazi ideology”, said Ossoff. “Mike Collins needs to hold a press conference this afternoon, and he needs to release all the communications between his office and these white supremacists.” [...]

On Thursday, the Washington Post reported that an ex-staffer for Collins, Preston Parra, who has described himself as a “twink fascist” on his X account, shared images in June and July of a swastika and one that depicts himself in Ku Klux Klan robes. The posts are still there, along with others in which Parra repeatedly casually uses the N-word, quotes Nazi song lyrics and uses the phrase “White Power”.

Reached for comment, Parra responded with a racial slur.

And more from the Georgia Recorder: Four dozen Black Georgia lawmakers press Collins on alleged ‘white nationalist’ ties:

More than 50 Black Georgia lawmakers have signed onto a statement condemning Republican U.S. Rep. Mike Collins for associates’ comments and posts that have been widely panned as racist and antisemitic. [...]

But since clinching the GOP nomination in a June runoff, Collins has come under fire for online posts by his son-in-law and former chief of staff last month after reports the staffer was in a group chat with white nationalists.

The statement issued by Black Georgia lawmakers this week criticized Collins for not apologizing or offering an explanation.

“We condemn the Georgia congressman and urge our Republican state legislators to join us in demanding answers for his extensive ties to white nationalists,” the statement reads in part.

Collins’ campaign did not respond to requests for comment Monday.

Collins ran to Newsmax instead, and America Right Now host Tom Basile gave him a chance to respond, and Collins proceeded to play dumb and pretend he just found out about the accusations before launching into an attack on the DSA and Ossoff to deflect.

BASILE: I want to give you an opportunity to address an Ossoff attack on you and your campaign. Some would say not surprisingly accusing you of what he says, quote, extensive ties to white nationalism.

A former staffer of your PAC allegedly posting images on social media depicting a swastika and photos and some KKK style robes. His work with your PAC ended in 2025, and he's not affiliated with your campaign.

Ossoff, though, has challenged you to "come clean." I'll give you an opportunity to respond.

COLLINS: You know Tom, those views are absolutely abhorrent. They don't represent my base or the base of this country and as a matter of fact this week was the first time that it was brought to my attention and I absolutely condemn it, and my voting record is clear on that.

But there is a rise in antisemitism and hatred within young people around the globe and the entire DSA wing of the Democrat Party, which is led by John Ossoff's friends, this El-Sayed and Hasan Piker, I mean, who he is even yet to condemn.

But young people just feel like that they've been forgotten and they're lashing out in the worst possible ways out there, making enemies out of our allies and just spewing this hatred that has no place in the world.

I mean, we've got to educate them against this. We've got to give them opportunities so that they just don't retreat from society, you know, and into these conspiracy theories.

Collins then pretended that the moderate Ossoff wants to take over as the new head of the DSA instead of Bernie Sanders, who isn't head of the DSA either, but none of these people care how ridiculous they sound during their fear-mongering.
