Rep. James Comer blamed the Ethics Committee for dragging its feet to investigate Rep. Ilhan Omar for fraud and, with no proof, attacked her husband after Russian asset Benny Johnson begged him to prosecute the Minnesota Congresswoman.

Rep. Omar has become a constant target for vilification mostly because she's Muslim and a woman in Congress.

Johnson ignores the massive corruption being committed by Dear Leader and attacks Rep. Omar, like she's their white whale.

JOHNSON: I think the single greatest prosecution that could happen in arguably my lifetime in American history would be the prosecution of Ilhan Omar, just to send a signal that you're not allowed to do this from such a high position, right?

Because so many of these people, nobody knows who they are.

They can't even pronounce their names.

Do you believe that Ilhan Omar committed fraud?

Belief has become the symbol of truth for the MAGA cult because they are unable to provide any proof against those they vilify.

"I think that her husband committed fraud. And I believe that, you know, the Ethics Committee, waiting on the Ethics Committee is like waiting on the U.S. Senate to do anything," Comer said.

Mynett has been subjected to House Republican investigations, but Comer has come up empty after an accounting error was discovered.

Comer then whined about House rules that prohibit him from holding another witch hunt.

COMER: Our rules in Congress say only the Ethics Committee can investigate other members because we rolled in on Omar because it's not a complicated investigation.

You saw her financial disclosure form, and the discrepancy was on a winery in Minnesota and a couple of other projects where she had tried to get earmarks for things that would have benefited the Somali community that were already, that have already been identified in committing fraud in Minnesota.

So you know, it was, it was not going to be a complicated investigation, but Hakeem Jeffries started raising T-Total hell because he said, the rules say you can't, the oversight can't investigate members of Congress, only the Ethics Committee.

So we had to turn it over to the Ethics Committee.

And again, they're about as quick as the U.S. Senate at getting anything done.

During the Biden administration, Comer was a constant guest on the entire Republican media complex almost daily, giving promising updates with indictments just around the corner against Joe Biden and his family.

He constantly released documents that bore no fruit but were good for the networks to smear Biden almost 24 hours a day.

Of course, none of those ever came true.

It will be nice when he's kicked to the curb, loses his Chairmanship, and real investigations take place.
