Sen. Roger Marshall got roasted on social media after the New York Times bombshell broke that he sued patients. The Times reported that some of Marshall's patients were arrested and put in jail for their medical debt, some as low as $100.
Senator Marshall practiced OBGYN for 25 years before running for Congress in 2016. The doctor-turned-Senator likes to refer to himself as "Doc Marshall" and play up a folksy persona as a country doctor. But the Kansas Senator is one of Trump's top supporters in the Senate. Marshall is deeply unpopular in the state for his extreme right-wing views and the fact that he doesn't even LIVE in Kansas.
Marshall Got Roasted After the NYT Story
The wrath against Senator Marshall was immediate after the NYT story broke. The national heat "Doc" Marshall is taking is like a birthday present. It makes me giddy. Dig, if you will, a few of the zillions of comments after the Times story exposed him.
One Twitter user brought receipts:
"Seems pertinent that Senator Marshall's net worth is estimated at over $6 million. He didn't need to have pregnant women arrested in order to pay his mortgage. He's just got the Republican greed and cruelty traits in abundance."
Another Twitter user calls Marshall out as a seditious gasbag clown.
One of the most direct tweets about Marshall might be my favorite:
"@RogerMarshallMD YOU are a shitbag. A fucking disgusting SHITBAG. Fuck you to the grave and beyond. Some people should NEVER NEVER NEVER be allowed to be doctors. YOU MR. SHITBAG are one of them."
Over on Blue Sky, Kevin Kruse called Marshall an "evil dumb guy." Ryan Cooper posted on the platform that "they're calling him the Most Republican Doctor of all time."
It turns out good old "Doc Marshall" had his lawyers ask the judges FOR ARREST WARRANTS.

Kansans Despise Marshall
For many good reasons, Kansas voters do not support the GOP Senator. Let's hope they vote him out in November!
