Ted Cruz is always bad news for Texas teams, as they always lose when he shows up. Thankfully, he didn't stick around for more booing, and the Texas Longhorns pulled out a dramatic win against Ohio State.

Senator Ted Cruz was mercilessly booed during the Texas Longhorns game on Saturday morning in Austin.
Cruz, a Texas Republican, appeared on ESPN’s “College GameDay” from the stadium to discuss the Protect College Sports Act, which would create federal guidelines for college athletics.
“What we have right now is chaos. There are no rules,” Cruz said, citing student-athlete gambling, repeated transfers, extended eligibility and inadequate compensation as examples.
Shortly after the interview began, however, boos from the crowd at the University of Texas at Austin stadium swelled, at times making it difficult to hear the senator.
At one point, numerous people chanted over and over in unison: “Ted, you suck!” Even some of the young sports enthusiasts standing just behind Cruz — who were visible on camera — joined in.
Good point made here by Mike Nellis.
Jimmy Kimmel can't talk to Talarico on air, but ESPN can bring on Ted Cruz to ruin like the only good fucking thing we have left https://t.co/MsdwwHZXT4

And maybe the ultimate burn from a Trump advisor.
.@tedcruz, we’re trying to win elections over here bro. That means attracting more young voters, not driving them away. Your appearances on mainstream television act as a repellent to our efforts. Please stay off it. Respectfully.… https://t.co/gxe59SAV8r
