Turns Out This Insufferable MAGA Activist Is Actually A Registered Foreign Agent

Prominent MAGA activist CJ Pearson took to his X account to proudly tout his recent appearance at last week's Republican midterm convention -- dubbed the "Trumpapalooza" -- telling his followers that it was a "pleasure to be in MAGA Country."

He pointedly failed to mention to his followers that he had quietly registered as a foreign agent that same day.

Peason -- who rose to internet fame at a mere 12 years old, thanks to a video of himself trashing former President Obama -- was in good company at the GOP convention that, while avoided by countless Republican lawmakers who are trying to avoid getting the dreaded Trump Stink on their clothes so close to their own elections, was absolutely crawling with MAGA "influencers."

Pearson's less-than-humble brag on social media included a photo of himself donning a cowboy hat in a gray suit, standing with his harms crossed and wearing a smug smile across his face:

But investigative journalist Scott Stedman rained all over Pearson's parade when he publicly revealed that, within hours of writing his post about how glad he was to spend time among his fellow MAGA fiends, Pearson had formally registered as a foreign agent, under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

"Pearson registered as a foreign agent for an Israeli tech/drone company the day this was posted. $20k/month," Stedman wrote in his X post, busting the MAGA influence for trying to pull a fast one.

Pearson's FARA registration confirms that he agreed with Israeli drone company XTEND, earning an eye-popping $ 20,000 a month for services that include "developing messaging, conducting media outreach” and “supporting coalition-building efforts.”

It wasn't long before the MAGA influencer's celabrator post was hit with a "Community Note," X's version of a fact-check, generated by the platform's users, informing everyone who viewed his post that he is, in fact, "a registered foreign agent of Israel."

Interestingly, this isn't even the first time Peason has registered as a foreign agent. Earlier this year, he registered under FARA as an agent operating on behalf of the Bahamas.
