Kudos to “Tom” for doing whatever he did to get on camera with the Fox News correspondent covering Donald Trump’s South Carolina rally Thursday.
“We’ve got Tom right here, kind enough to answer a few questions,” Fox’s Lucas Tomlinson said. It suggested that Tom had been pre-screened to some degree.
“Tom, why are you here this morning?” Tomlinson asked.
He got the answer of a lifetime.
“Well, in the late '70s, I was a little too young to get involved and go to South America for the Jonestown massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here,” Tom replied.
“Wait, the Jonestown massacre?” Tomlinson said, in disbelief.
“That's right. See, it's nothing like seeing a cult right up front, man."
“Alright, maybe this is not a Trump supporter,” Tomlinson said, in what may be the understatement of the year.
Tom’s assessment was proved correct in an earlier clip with this woman. Tomlinson had a lot more he wanted to discuss with her.
