A conservative guest on the Fox News network attempted on Thursday to shame a female liberal contributor as a "Farrah Fawcett wannabe" after he recently told her to "Know your role and shut your mouth."
Liberal Fox News contributor Tamara Holder began a segment on Sean Hannity's show by reminding conservative radio host Bill Cunningham of the controversy that erupted in June when he told her to "Shut up."
"I think this is a proper opportunity for you to apologize, not to me but to the viewers, for taking your attack personally," she said. "He said something about 'shut my mouth' and 'know my role.'"
Hannity, however, wanted to know how raising the debt ceiling did not increase the debt.
"Because we're paying old debt that we owe, like people who have pensions," Holder explained.
"This woman has lost her mind!" Cunningham exclaimed. "There's no question about that. Let me help you with math. When your friend, Obama, took office the national debt was about 9 and half to 10 trillion, now it's 17 on the way to 20. In my simple, Catholic grade-school math, that's about a 10 trillion increase under eight years of Obama. Is 20 greater than 10, Tamara? Earth to Tamara. Is 20 greater than 10?"
"Are you talking to me like I'm an alien?" Holder wondered. "Or because I didn't go to Catholic school?"
"You don't look like a Catholic girl to me," Cunningham quipped.
"Are you listening to this, Sean?" Holder asked as Hannity ignored the conservative guest's insults. "I don't look like a Catholic girl? What do I look like?"
"Farrah Fawcett wannabe," Cunningham said.
"Do you accept this?" Holder pressed, turning to Hannity again. "He is your typical conservative, bashing people, bashing me for my opinion."
"Farrah Fawcett was beautiful," Hannity observed.
"This is the problem with your show and with Americans and people like Bill Cunningham," Holder pointed out. "It's always an attack, an attack on the president, an attack on people."
