Elena Pavlova - cool, calm, collected.

Last year I posted a track by Ukraine Jazz-Fusion Sax player Elena Pavlova, from a discovery I made via Soundcloud. It was pretty impressive and I expressed high hopes for a bright career.

A few months later and Elena has something new out, as well as working on a new project she calls Pavlova Sound which is more exploring in the Fusion/Progressive vein. She's been making strides and getting her message across and getting a fan base in the process.

Tonight's track Big Foot came out just recently and she continues to amaze. I'm just hoping she gets the attention of some ears over on this side of the Atlantic, because she's certainly starting up a stir in Eastern Europe and its spreading west.

So this is her latest and I'm sure there is more coming shortly. She's been gigging a lot lately around her native Kiev and hopefully some live recordings may make it over here.

But in the meantime, a nice end to the week and a nice start to the weekend.
