Paris w/Bob Welch - timing really wasn't on their side.

Paris tonight, the short-lived Power Trio put together by ex-Fleetwood Mac guitarist Bob Welch and featuring ex-Jethro Tull bassist Glenn Cornick and drummer Hunt Sales. At a time when Power-Trios were falling out of favor and hard rock even more so, Paris had something of an uphill battle. All the elements were certainly there, but the band did suffer two deadly problems; weak material and weak vocals and both of those factors added up to very disappointing sales.

Tonight's track, Outlaw Game, is off their second (and final) album Big Towne 2061 released in 1976.

Further proof not everything on vinyl is a neglected gem and some of it was just a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
