(Pipers - Indie from Milan with a BritPop twist - tasty)
I've been following the progress of Pipers for a few years now. They're an Indie band from Milan Italy who sing in English (in case you were worried about the language thing) and have been around for a few years now. Recently, in fact in the past year, fortunes have been picking up for the band. A lot of touring, club dates and opening acts have gotten a good word of mouth going for the band and they have finally put their first album out. No One But Us just came out and is available either as a download or via their Myspace page. Tonight's track is Sick Of You and it's off the album. Although they are listed as an Indie band, this track has a lot more Pop going for it than anything else. But it's a nice track, well recorded and produced and it's a nice compliment to a band who have been working very hard getting their message out.
