News of the day for November 10, 1941. German advances, British bombings of German cities, America inching closer to involvement, domestic policies, food prices, FDR - a typical day, only it's 1941.

The familiar trudge of war.

November 10, 1941 - a typical day, only there was a war going on. German Army advances in Eastern Europe, the British Airforce bombing Hamburg. British losses on the Mediterranean and American shipping inching closer to the shooting side of the war. Politics on Capitol Hill - food prices being the big battle between Congress and FDR and more weird weather as reported on the NBC Morning News Roundup for November 10th - a Monday morning in 1941.

Sounds like your average day.
