After calling out President Obama for his selective outrage over which weapons "violate international norms," and for refusing to prosecute torture that occurred under the Bush administration, The Daily Show's Jon Stewart unleashed on the pundits on Fox for their newfound love of Vladamir Putin.

Stewart ‘credits’ Fox News chief: ‘If anybody knows how to deal with egomaniacal sociopaths, it’s Roger Ailes’:

Jon Stewart granted Fox News head Roger Ailes with a bit of credit on The Daily Show Thursday night, pointing out that Ailes himself proposed a scenario in which the U.S. would let Russian President (and “shirt-allergy survivor”) Vladimir Putin take the lead on a diplomatic solution to the civil war in Syria.

“If anybody knows how to deal with egomaniacal sociopaths, it’s Roger Ailes,” Stewart offered, pointing toward a collage of pictures of Fox News hosts.

However, that seemed to be lost on Ailes’ employees, as Stewart played a montage of escalating rhetoric from around the network, excoriating U.S. President Barack Obama for allowing Putin to “castrate” him.

“We’ve had our balls cut off and we don’t have any more lunch money,” Stewart mockingly exclaimed.
