Os Mutantes were one of Brazil's most important and influential rock bands, combining Psychedelica with the traditional sounds of Tropicalia and Samba, ultimately creating a sound that was uniquely theirs. Their music is now widely available thanks to the efforts of David Byrne, who has released their records on his own Luaka Bop label. This song has been running through my head since Brazil's World Cup win over North Korea on Tuesday. Ole!
