Lindsey Graham Curiously Mute After CBS Benghazi Story Tanks
November 9, 2013

(Lindsey Graham Promises to Block All Senate Nominations Over Benghazi)

Sen. Lindsey Graham has been on TV news a whole lot lately. He's always been on TV way too much to begin with, but recently, he's been much more aggressively ludicrous. Take his On Oct. 12 appearence where he was venting his frustrations over the government shutdown and he said this:

“This is a very frustrated Lindsey Graham,” he added. “Which is a very dangerous thing.”

OMG, run for cover! A dangerous Lindsey Graham is stalking the halls of Congress and he's mad as hell. What a WATB. Of course he did nothing dangerous. I'd enjoy it if he actually did something intelligent, but that would be asking too much. Soon after that rant, he saw Lara Logan's fraudulent 60 Minutes Benghazi story and went ballistic.

Talking Points Memo:

He told CNN's Wolf Blitzer last week that the report filed by CBS News correspondent Lara Logan proved that "the story told by the administration about what happened in Benghazi doesn't have an ounce of truth in it."
Appearing on "Fox & Friends" on Tuesday, Graham said that the discredited witness in the "60 Minutes" report "really does destroy the narrative" on Benghazi.

"Can you imagine if we knew all these things before the election?" Fox host Brian Kilmeade asked Graham during that interview.

"Can you only imagine?" Graham said.

On the heels of the "60 Minutes" report, Graham announced his intention to block every Obama administration appointee until survivors of the Benghazi attack testify before Congress.

Can you imagine? Well, now that that story has been completely debunked, the new book has been shelved and everybody over at 60 Minutes is walking around with egg on their faces, Senator Graham has refused to comment on his silly actions.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) trumpeted the recent "60 Minutes" piece on last year's attack in Benghazi perhaps louder than any other Republican, but he's been mostly silent since CBS News retracted the report on Friday.

After TPM submitted multiple requests for comment, a spokesman for Graham finally responded with an email saying that the senator "will be a guest on CNN State of the Union discussing the latest on Benghazi and the Iranian nuclear program" this Sunday.

Goober Graham should be barred from every mentioning the word Benghazzzzziiiiii! again.
