Dave Matthews Band - Funny the Way It Is from Big Whiskey and the Groo Grux King.
My husband and I rarely like the same bands. He has stayed true to his classic rock favorites and I tend to be eclectic and will float from one style to another. But we're both big fans of the new album by DMB, their first since the death of their saxophonist Le Roi Moore. The stand out track for both of us is Funny The Way It Is, with its strong hooks and infectious bass line. I can always tell when my husband is listening to this on his MP3 from the way his whole body moves to the beat.
Can you think of another song that really shows a band coming back strong after a life-changing tragedy?
