This Week with George Stephanopoulos marks the passing of one service member in Afghanistan.

US Army CWO James E Groves III, 37, Kettering, OH

According to iCasualties, the total number of allied service members killed in Afghanistan is 3,271. There were also seven service members killed during a training exercise in Nevada this week. It is currently under investigation.
