This Week with Christiane Amanpour marks the passings of pro wrestler Randy "Macho Man" Savage, former Irish Prime Minister Garret FitzGerald and baseball Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew. In addition, the Pentagon released the names of nine service members killed in Afghanistan.

According to iCasualties, the total number of allied service members killed in Iraq is now 4,770; in Afghanistan, 2,463, of which, 155 are Canadian. During this same period, Iraq Body Count lists 94 Iraqi civilians killed.
