Only question whether he's physically up to the job. He seems fragile.
As I would be now. Forcing people out of business because they don't want to serve a certain type of person is more evil than having racial preferences in my mind. Fact is, there are certain people in the world with strong racial, ethnic, and/or religious preferences. I'm one of them. I'm extremely uncomfortable surrounded by certain ethnic groups, particularly aggressive Afro and Afro-Asiatic types. You don't have to like that but it will always be a reality. You won't make it go away by forcing businesses out of business. In other words, all you'll accomplish by forcing some segments of some groups into integrating, is to drive good, prosperous, well-run businesses under, and happy, contented people to unhappiness. Their right to serve who they please is part of living in a pluralistic, tolerant society. It's a fundamental right we grant to people in a free society. To not be discriminated against, to not be offended, to be liked, these are not rights, they're privileges. Morality should not be legislated, from the right or the left. Nothing will change the fact that the Civil Rights Act, despite its supposedly noble, righteous goals, made the world a worse place. The world is a worse place due to that law. We're worse off socially, politically, morally, than at any time in our history. People are as malcontent and mixed up as ever. Our democracy has been sacrificed for feudalism, our civilization is going the way of the Dodo, social trust is at an all-time low. We're worse off by virtually every metric save overall wealth. Government segregation should have ended, not private segregation. For those who desired integration nothing changed, but for those who didn't, it simply made them less secure, less comfortable, and less free in their own communities. It did so by force. If that's progress, you can keep it.

Hey Mike, why not simply take a personal poll of your voters.
Stand in front of the State Capital for two whole days, with allowances for meals and bathroom breaks, and allow your constituents to confront you personally.
Those that agree with the law can show their support by being allowed to shake your hand. Those against can show their lack of support by being allowed to give you one swift kick in the nuts.
These troglodytes specifically! They know what the law gives them and could care less if Pence lies about it now. The right already got what they wanted.
