Liz Cheney outed herself as a carpetbagger. A Facebook user busted her for pretending to be a true representative of the State of Wyoming. It's kind of a dead giveaway when you've enabled your location in the settings of your Facebook page and your location is thousands of miles from Wyoming.
An astute resident of Wyoming noticed this geographical disparity.
Liz announced her candidacy for the lone seat in the House of Representatives a few days ago, much to the horror of those familiar with the demon seed of the Cheney Family. Today she will formally announce her campaign kickoff from Gillette, Wyoming. Fortunately for Liz, Gillette Wyoming is right around the corner from Alexandria, Virginia.
Her gripe with Obama's Presidency as it relates to her 'home' state of Wyoming is rather reminiscent of the Bundy Bunch, which appeals to freedumb lovers in her Republican Party.
The press release announcing her candidacy places her priorities on reversing Obama-era policies that Cheney thinks have been harmful to the American West:
"Wyoming has limitless potential," Cheney said in a video announcing her candidacy, "but to unleash it, we must begin reversing the devastation brought on by eight years of President Obama's policies."
"No state has been hurt more by those policies than Wyoming. Obama's war on coal is devastating Wyoming communities and destroying the livelihoods of our neighbors," Cheney said. "Our farmers and ranchers are being ruined by excessive regulations from Washington bureaucrats. The EPA is subjecting them to outrageous fines and the BLM seems intent on removing all human activity from public lands."
"Because of President Obama, federal government overreach is encroaching on every aspect of our lives, from how we get medical care to how we teach our children. Our fundamental freedoms and constitutional rights are under attack. Our security is threatened by the reckless cuts he has made to our military." (really?)
"It's not enough for Wyoming to just send a Republican to Washington. We need a proven conservative who will defend the Constitution. We need a fighter with a record of standing up against the liberal establishment. That's why I'm running to represent our state in Congress," Cheney said. "Wyoming only has one voice in the U.S. House of Representatives. At this perilous moment, we must make sure it is the strongest voice possible."
Liz is a true Republican because every single claim she makes is based on fiction. She utilizes familiar GOP talking points to demonize that Kenyan Usurper in the White House. This shared disgust of a very competent president unifies Republicans, so her arguments are a win for Liz, their veracity notwithstanding.
