By bluegal Monday Aug 17, 2009 7:30pmAnd in case you haven't heard, Katy Abram is interviewed here by Lawrence O'Donnell (okay, I gave it a lil' Blue Gal treatment hee hee) as if she is 'aw, shucks' an average citizen who was just awakened to politics by the socialism of health care reform. She is actually a Glenn Beck 9-12 Organizer who has been involved/"interested" in politics since at least the GOP loss of the 2006 Congressional elections.

Our society, civilization, culture, the economy, health care, wall street (screw the bastards), everything to do with life on this earth is a subset of the ecology.
We are destroying it. The alarm bells du jour:
but unfortunately a dumb conservative woman runs this country. We voted for Obama and congressional democrats but a dumb conservative woman still runs this country. Why else would the congressional Democrats negotiate with Republicans and conservative Democrats. Why would Obama back off even the tepid public option?
We citizens do not have to negotiate with these dumb conservatives. We can destroy the conservative power structure.
Read my blog at http://blog.democratz.org in the top post to learn how you can join with others to DESTROY the conservative power structure.
and the media --especially CNN and NBC looped this all the way through Monday...Nothing new in this ---reading from a script and getting more agitated as she went along..Typical coached conservative low information rioter...Sanctioned by the news..
Shameless..Oh, lets shut down Conrad..he admitted that Co -ops would not address ANY of the issues -cost -competition and take years..his example was a group in Washington that has a smaller membership than his states population... Co-ops only work for rural electic companies in state like his and in New Mexico! Call him 1.800.224.7776 and the rest of congress 1.800.828.0498...
I vote for a Presidential VETO if there is no public option..and the removal of all knuckle draggers in 2010 on both sides of the aisle!
i wonder if this moronic bitch
knows the difference between
pasties and pastries..
Best case: We get better health care and America plunges into bat sh*t insane debt far worse than we already are.
Worst case: We don't get better health care and America plunges into bat sh*t insane debt far worse than we already are.
IF either party ever got honest about the topic I'd fall off my chair.
I hate bringing up Sarah Palin but she could be her running mate in '12.
.
Crackerbarrel wants their dinnerware and salt shakers back.
while they in turn bash an 11 year old girl for asking obama a question
these aholes have no shame
ms abrams is an adult who alledgedly can speak for herself
oh wait...she is a wingnut zombie....nevermind
and why is she given new consideration?
before you speak out of turn
and as i noted, the wingnut talkers are all coming to her aide
so it is up to us to rip her a new one
"maybe im not so smart"
I remember some of your comments. Actually I will never forget! Uncle Joe McCarthy!
You are not!
You didn't see that she had air in her head?
there are annotations added
as well as the fact that a commentator on kos finding out a bit more about ms abram then she let on
almost all of the protestors are nuts...doesnt mean that we should let them be
it's methane gas from her ass.
spark!
I watched the real-time interview. I knew Lawrence was playing with her!
with a VW 4-banger instead of the Porsche flat-6.
The 912 used the Porsche 4 cylinder from the Porsche 356.
Not a VW engine at all.
not the early cars.
and you can make the vdub 4 banger tear ass off the line faster than 5.0 mustang gt.
my brother built a swamp buggy/sand rail lookin thing outta his beetle...the cops HATED that car...
it was JUST barely legal under florida law...
Aw, screw it: YOU'RE A LIAR!
Good work, bluegal. :D
...is a terrible "health insurance" policy! This means that if anyone gets sick or injured, the insurance won't kick in until, oh, the second or third day in the hospital. Dental not covered, eyeglasses cost less than $5000. Sheesh! And she LIKES that?!? "I guess we'll keep it." Sure sounds dumb.
seriously
i have a wingnut freind who dropped his regular insurance and got one of these policies for his family
of course, he can afford the out of pocket costs for all his medical needs
most people cannot
can, until he needs a new liver or is in a horrific auto accident that leaves him in ICU for a month. An acquaintance of ours was relating a story about how his wife was hospitalized recently and a financial officer showed up in her room asking for a check. Her husband said it wouldn't be a problem thinking they might want a $1,000 or two and promptly asked for $25,000.
I work in an ICU and our room/bed charges are $6,000/day. That's just to lie in the bed.
deductible would be met the first day. And did your friends husband ask for a payment plan, after being told 25K? And to state that its 6k just to lie in a bed in ICU is a bit dishonest. Yes your just lying in a bed, but what all medical technology, and nursing/Dr staff is attending? There is a big difference in the amount of manpower and technology needed between general, telemetry, ICU, IMCU etc. What is your RN to patient ratio in ICU compared to general rooms? How about the equipment used? Along with med malpractice insurance. Yes ICU costs a shitload, but it costs a shitload to run.
So we should keep it status quo and keep swallowing the bullshit pills that this beats a national single payer system? This country has it's priorities so screwed up, it makes the head spin.
She hit her deductible this year, and her kid needs another surgery. What are the odds her insurance company drops her? Then what would she "choose" to pay for health insurance?
the second they hit the deductable, they will get a denial letter in the mail
I take back everything I said about her.
She's not a nice person. She's a two faced lying POS!
she stated quite clearly
"maybe im not that smart"
that is the truth
being interested in politics for the past 3 years doesnt make one a maven
she is being touted as a stay at home mother, so she was being a bit disengenuous about her involvement with her husbands biz
but hubby must be doing rather well if they can put out close to 5k in heathcare and not dip into savings
says it all about their slave wage employees, thats how these petty Republicans make their stash, on the backs of other peoples labor.
Between the Gilded Age greedmeisters like Commodore Vanderbilt and the Ferengi like profiteers and users at Whole Foods?
Nothing much, except the Ferengi were shorter and had bigger ears.
!
Not that I shop there, but I missed the whole discussion.
highly critical of health care reform. Like his organic shoppers are Katy Abram's who don't care about politics.
For sheer idiocy he deserves his boycott.
seriously...that company knows how to treat its employees and its customers
mine is in walking distance...which helps me save the enviroment at the same time
I do most f my shopping at 99 Cent Only these days; it's right across the street from me. Lots of pretty good deals, esp produce.
All Trader Joe bread sucks. It tends to be verging on stale. Some of the boxed and canned stuff is pretty nasty tasting.
.
that's not entirely accurate. He is for health care reform, just not what the Govt. is trying to do. Here is the article.
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB2000142405297...
I myself would love the health insurance they offer. 100% of premiums paid by the company, up to $1800 of company money deposited into a personal wellness account that rolls over from year to year and I believe it has the same regs as the one I had which means it can be used for virtually anything health related including OTC meds, with a high deductible of $2500.
Yes--just like Exxon/Mobil and Chevron advertising on PBS saying in their pleading voice---ohh, won't you help us--we need to work together?
Yeah right, after you greedy pigs vacuumed my wallet you want my help. Go blow yourselves.
She said she didn't know that much about politics.
And she might not know a whole lot.( Obviously)
But if she works for this 9/12 org. That says it all.
Had to have known this. And even then, he cut her some slack.
He should have crucified her.(figuratively)
He did cut her a lot of slack. I don't think he wanted to crack her up on the air and make her a martyr or victim for the dysfunctional Neocons. But he wanted to push her hard enough to make her look stupid and foolish and did a good job of it.
O"Donnell has a lot of potential.
I'm hoping that LO,KO,RM and Ed Sullivan take it up a few notches. And literally start abusing them on the air.(That's the most civil way for to me to say it without getting deleted)
Yuk!
Me too!
?
Ed Schultz, maybe?
Boy that will be one really big shoo when he rises from the dead.
Go on, let me have it.:)
LOL, Ok you got me.
Yikes. It was a really big shoe. Shaq sized.
I knew it started with an S.
Ok,ok, Let me have it. Get it out of your system.
I deserve it.:)
To see if were awake and or sober. Good job.
failure on my part.
And mebbe not so sober.
It was an Irish name.
He just let her show the rest of the world what an intellectual lightweight she is. Now if she'd try to play the game that Culberson attempted with O'Donnell the following day, I'm sure that Lawrence would have done the same thing he did to the congressman.
I see the Packers won this last weekend.
I'm looking forward to seeing you guys in the playoffs.
Hey, do you know anything about Manchester United?
Does the name Busby ring a bell?
But the game was against the Browns, who might finish the season with the worst record in the league.
Man Utd. beat Birmingham City 1-0. Shoulda been 2 or 3-0. Rooney got the goal, Michael Owen had one called back for offsides, and blew a one-on-one with the keeper.
As great as Matt Busby was, Sir Alex is going to do what no other manager in English football has ever done: He's going to lead a team to four straight championships in the top tier.
Chelsea 2-1 Hull City. That was actually a pretty good game. Hull City is everyone's choice to finish 20th, they got up 0-1, then Didier Drogba did his thing for the Blues, scoring both goals. Jozy Altidore got loaned to Hull City for the year and should get a lot of playing time...but his work visa wasn't ready in time and he spent the game in New Jersey.
Also, Everton 1-6 Arsenal (yes, 1-6), and Tottenham 2-1 Liverpool.
Was my fathers cousins uncle.
No shit.
Oh, and the Celtic won.
...my own grandpa.
You didn't have to bring Britney into this.
agghhhhhhhhhhhh.
But I'm not joking aboot Busby.
My fathers cousin, Connell MaGee. His uncle was Matt Busby. I just found this out a few weeks ago.
My father said that Busby( I'm taking it that he was the head coach at the time) turned the team around. I didn't quiz my dad about it. But I will when I talk to him this Sunday.
Just lookin' for an excuse to drop some Ray Stevens. :D
Thanks for giving me a much-needed laugh, Andy!
Ray Stevens is always a hoot.
Sorry about your loss. I know how you must feel. My old rommie had to put down a dog and a cat within about a year of each other. I didn't grow up with pets, but I got attached to Kerouac (dog) and Theodore (cat), and it really hurt.
They host Arsenal in a Champions League game.
That was a bitter loss. Now they have to win by at least 2 goals in Russia.
To be able to continue.European or World Cup?
It was Dinamo Moscow 1-0 Celtic in the first game, then it came back to Glasgow and the final was Celtic 2-0 Dinamo Moscow. Celtic won on aggregate goals. That was two weeks ago. It was Champions League. That's why Celtic is playing Arsenal tomorrow.
Culberson was a willful and flagrant liar that deserved what he got from O'Donnell. On the other hand, it didn't take much to expose Katy Abram as a lightweight that was out of her league without having a Neocon script to read from.
Gee,
I'm just a simple housewife.
I have no idea if we could pay our $5,000 yearly deductible in cash every fucking week of the year or not after paying all our business expenses.
But I like Whole Foods' idea.
Don’t forget they give “between $300 and $1,800 a year depending on longevity” toward their $2,500 yearly deductible (meaning $25 month for newer employees) [after working 400 - 800 hours].
So, if one of their employees at the salad bar gets Hepatitis in January or February, they’ll already have $25 (!) to help them decide if a multi-hundred dollar visit to the doctor can wait just another day or two, to see if those chills break on their own.
And of course, glibertarians wouldn’t want public health picking up the tab for vaccinations for the several hundred potentially exposed customers and employees, now would ya?
Just kidding! It’s more likely they’ll have H1N1 Flu anyway. And we all know how objectionable having government make vaccines for that is!
~ Harry R. Sohl
“See ya’ at the salad bar!”
Dr. visit? What Dr. are you going to? Unless its a ER visit. My local Dr. is I think 80. And they will take payments if you ask. So that would be a $25 payment a month.
And why would public health pick up the tab for vaccinations in the scenario you described? If the company is at fault, they are required to pay.
Not sure where you live, but where I live payment is made up front or you don't see the physician. My daughter had surgery recently and we had to pay the copay, $250, for the surgery before they would even schedule it. Not everyone lives like you do or where you do and costs are not the same across the U.S. Sure they'll see you in the E.R., they have to, but see you in an office without your money, that's a thing of the past.
if they would accept payments? Yes they ask for it upfront, but most Drs. and Hospitals are willing to work with people. The reason they ask for it up front is because they only receive about 30% of billed services. If your honest with them about not being able to pay upfront they will work with you usually.
ETA and I've never been asked to pay prior to service at any Dr, Dentist or Hospital, they give you the bill at the end of treatment. And if you can't pay right away, they ask you to make arrangements. I was asked at a dentist if I could pay, but he didn't require payment upfront, so I could of lied but I'm honest.
My Dr. and Dentist both have signs stating that payment is required at time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. Ask them for a payment plan and they are more than willing to work with you. Same with the hospitals, my wife had to have her gall bladder out, I asked if they would take payments on the co-pay. They said sure not a problem. What can you afford?
Oh and I live in a small city in Indiana
ETA And lives like I do? I's a poor folk. I'm out of work at the moment(other than odd jobs I pick up) and going to college and my wife is a pre-school teacher(albeit a pretty good paid one for the area were in). I'm taking out student loans to pay for schooling and a bit extra. We grow a garden to help provide food, and I'm going hunting as soon as the season opens. We have home made meals 99% of the time. We have two kids one 15 and one 3, and were both in our late 30's. Does that tell you enough about how I live?
and for several years I did not qualify for Medicaid for my young son, nor did I have the money to purchase health insurance (I was free-lance at the time). I found I could take him to the local hospital's residency program, and visits cost $40. Of course, doctors graduated and moved on, so you might see someone new each visit. They were closely supervised by those experienced physicians I could not afford to see, and the care we received was top notch. And being fresh out of school, our doctors were still in the field because they wanted to HELP people. I don't know if other communities have the same program, but I recommend it highly.
that they found very few people (surprisingly) took advantage of? I remember seeing something on Miami TV about such a program before I left several months ago.
programs are great, but did you call the other clinics and ask if they have a sliding scale for the uninsured? The clinic my family Dr. works at goes as low as $15 for and office visit if you have no insurance, and I know of another that's the same. My local hospital also charges a percentage of the total bill based on income if you have no insurance.
and we have plenty of deer, turkey and other game and a lot of folks live off of wild game and fish they "harvest". However, not everyone can hunt or fish to secure their daily meal. And yes, many people living in these parts grow gardens, but not the majority. The point, however, that I'd like to make, is that people can secure a payment plan with hospitals etc., but what this is translating into is medical costs/payment plans being the underlayment of 62% of all bankruptcies in this country. So, patients and their families will agree to make payments (faced with "make payment plan or die" option?), but they have to be able to afford to do so - and they can't - and they file bankruptcy. Our health care system is a viscous and broken down system, good only for the profits of insurance companies and big pharma. The United States can do better.
I can just hear this android's Neocon memory chip attempting to respond to Larry O' Donnell's attempt to get to the truth---this does not compute---non sequiteur---warning danger Will Robinson--then the blue screen of death comes on and forces her to say "maybe I'm not so smart." The Republiborg collective had to send her back for a reboot when she had her memory dump that caused the fatal error of honesty.
The GOP---they sure come up with some winners, that's for sure.
I just knew it about this one. Her saying "oh, i'm just a simple person who woke up" smelled like rotten fish. I hope exposing her as a fraud and a plant gets some play on the Intertubes.
Whoever these people are, that are trying to stop everything, that have taken the republican party, will stop at nothing to prevent democracy from moving forward. I believe there are really far fewer than they make out. They are like puffer fish - sorry to the puffer fish... There are enough though to really screw things up, unless we are very careful.
nice catch C&L.

The "Greetings" are inspired!
Lawrence played her like a fiddle...a screechy, warped fiddle.
“ Congrats! You've just become a target of the media when you spouted inanity like, "I want to restore this country to what it was under the Constitution." Awesome, cause that means you wouldn't be able to vote. You could go buy a slave to help with the housework, though. ”
I thought that's what she meant...on both counts.-g-
Voting for women is too much thinking.
SNARK.
Anyone that stupid simply has to be related to sarah palin.
Then how did she play one so convincingly on the tv?
Jeez! She's as dumb as a box of hair!
Lawrence should have pointed out what a shitty insurance policy she and her family are paying for and what a rip off it is. I would be terrified to be so moronic. At least she'll never know!
if you dont have tv....download or stream it
since the wire ended, its the best drama on tv
and the NRA today! I believe in the ACLU. I monitor the NRA and I pack. But that is with an open eye toward to wingnuts! They are crazy!
i wanted to hear his explanation for it...cuz it really made no sense at all

Thanks to everyone who puts up with/appreciates my posts....

that fraudulent representation is the GOP's favorite approach to herding their flock?
I heard on Thom Hartmann that the calls to the whitehouse were overwhelmingly for public option or single payer.
Bascially Sheriff Joe now has access to all his rivals computer files, he has access and control over case files which would include any whistleblowers or informers into Maricopa County Sheriff office corruption.
The Black shirts have all the power now in Maricopa County.
anything?
Better reign this racist prick in soon, AZ!
Do the Republicans, make such transparent, shameless liars? Is it because they must 'talk-down' to their supporters?
Nice 35y/o mom became angry activist about healthcare "socialism." Interviewed on MSNBC, was asked about Iraq/Afghan wars but claimed total ignorance, yet joins in refusing defeat. Americans hate to lose, especially when there's no draft and they exhibit "ain't my kid going to Iraq/Afghanistan" disconnect syndrome. She doesn't know much about events since 9/11 she's been too busy getting married and having kids so left it all to Bush. But now her free-enterprise healthcare is under attack so she's on fire! That is your Middle Class Republican: "ME FIRSTers," they live in preoccupation with personal material advantage. Their Bush brought bungled wars and economic collapse, thanks to de-regulation, while the lower class Americans were busy fighting and dying in Iraq and Afghanistan; she has no idea about that, she's too busy as a mom. America can't survive on such flag waving patriotism. It's time we accepted defeat-- both military and moral-- and focus on recreating a sense of national union and oblibation to eachother. Bush, like Cheney, had "other priorities" than serve in Vietnam War they cheered. To them Nixon was a loser. If Obama doesn't get out, they'll call him a loser too but they'll also say: what do you expect from an foreign anti-American who's not one of us?
forever. I hope she has a job and can save up again.
be confused, its a $5k per year deductible for out of pocket, with a $1m total payout by the insurance company, not $1m out of pocket expenses.
My oldest cat was euthanized this afternoon :(
I'm really gonna miss him.
my worst day as a pet owner was putting down an 18yr old bluepoint Siamese. we used to talk all day.
Saying goodbye to a pet has to be one of the saddest things ever.
and give you kudos for putting it down. We do have a washington law that will allow ailing patients to allow the same thing here. Whether it be man or beast, it must be painful.
she just couldn't work the lip, but she got the vowels quite well. no kidding.
I had a seal point Siamese kitty many years ago. They do love to talk!
sorry to hear that, CL. So many pet owners don't realize how much they become part of the family.
My deep condolences. Peace.
It's always rough when a pet you've loved for so long passes away...
Your kind words mean a lot to me.
lil scratch on the head in your kitty's memory.
Our animals are better friends than most humans.
I know what your going through. I've had to do it too.
Just remember how much they gave you. Remember the good things.
Consider yourself lucky Cal. You were able to have your friend for a long time. Others aren't so fortunate.
Your in my thoughts Cal. Rest well . I'm sure you did the right thing.
It's always a very difficult thing to do.
But, in the long run, it's the right thing to do.
I'm on my 4th dog. And she's 14 and a half.
I've had dogs for over 25 years. I never gets any easier.
He was really old (20+) and walking had become very painful for him.
He had a long, happy life and I've got great memories of him to treasure.
Thanks again for your kind thoughts. Much appreciated :)
but.....
I know that you have many. I am not asking for me or us, but for you. I know you're processing your loss, but treat yourself to a smile or three. those we love always leave smiles behind for is in our fondest memories.
our pets give us so much and losing one is always sad news indeed.
both send our condolences! How sad, but I'll bet you're glad we are allowed to euthanize our pets instead of letting them linger. Hope someone will do the same for me.
My heart goes out to you. Peace.
You've made me feel better :)
.........of my Raven, my black dog who was more human than many people are, ......when I lost him I couldn't stop crying ...........it lasted for at least 6 mo. until I got my first computer to distract myself from my grief. The Circle Game was a song that kept playing in my head, each day took me further from the gentle, kindness, the loving companionship, the eternal acceptance of me and life ..........he was an Avatar and I tried to learn from him.
Condolences my friend Calgarylady.
losing a loved pet is bad. I've had to put down/have put down a couple in my life and it was rough. Mourn them and get a new one to celebrate (not replace)their life when you feel able.
So few homes. The shelters are full. We've got two, one from a shelter and the other rescued at 12 days old.

Sorry to hear that.
must be a real, real oily peace of business if you've got Joe Scarborough calling him out as a person with "no sense of decency".
doesn't make him oily, it makes him slimey.
Maddow battles Armey on ‘Meet the Press’
Aug. 17: The Huffington Post’s Arianna Huffington weighs in on msnbc’s Rachel Maddow’s heated debate over health care reform with former House Majority Leader Dick Armey on Sunday’s edition of “Meet the Press.”
Ban Ki-Moon says we can't cop-out on December's climate change talks. I love the irony of a Vietnam re-enactment while we're still in Iraq and Afghanistan. Gun nuts come out to "protest" Obama. A hacker ran off with 130 million CC accounts. We're short on swine flu vaccine. The White House is more honest about e-mails than Bush. Americans buy Repug talking points on the stimulus. Troy Davis' case must be really mishandled if a Roberts court wants a retrial. Iraqi gays are tortured and killed by militiamen. Pandas gone in 2-3 generations? Oh, and SS# thefts. Even a Bollywood actor got profiled at an airport.
"Maybe I'm not that smart"
Bingo!
found the MySpace of the guy in Arizona who had the gun at the Arizona town hall meeting and the "it's time to water the tree of liberty" sign.
The guy is a big Randy Weaver of Ruby Ridge fame fan. Yeah, that puts my mind at ease, knowing that militia supporters are showing up to these events. /snark
There was another gun nut at Obama's Speech today. I think they have this attitude: "I just dare anyone try to take my gun away from me! I know my rights" They seem to have massive chips on their shoulders which probably comes from a deep-seated inferiority complex.
birthers, deathers, and teabaggers may very well feel low about themselves and have an inferiority complex. Maybe they realize deep down they're not that bright?
it gives them balls they didn't have before.
They seem to have massive chips on their shoulders which probably comes from a deep-seated inferiority complex.
That, or a small penis.
teeney wienies.
'i know my rights' that it. so many are convinced that are those who want to take their guns. the reality is there's concern at a heated public gathering when someone has a gun/weapon. that seems reasonable. they get off mixing the gun and abortion angle into issue(s). just like the dude in montana who asked a question about healthcare by identifying himself as a NRA member. hey whatever dude, i really don't care if you support the NRA. it's not necessary. it's a culture club mentality. i don't want your legal gun i want health care cost reform and he probably needs it also.
they use the gun issue to get people to vote against their own best interest.
may have been a militia member.
But what is wrong with being a member of the militia? Under US law
"(a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard."
Do you have any sites that prove he was a militia member other than by the law? Yes he may have attended some white supremacist meetings, but I have seen nothing that he was a member of such. And even if he was, there is nothing illegal about having personal beliefs. While I may not agree with his beliefs he has the right to have them.
a blowjob but you had a special prosecutor trying to indict a president for it and a congress who tried to impeach him for it. so, where do you stand?
Clinton(I assume that's who your referring to)being investigated for a BJ, but for lying under oath. I personally don't care if the president gets a BJ from anyone, or cigar bangs them, or does whatever legal sexual act there is. But if under oath, I expect them to tell the truth, same as I would. And yes I would I take my oaths seriously.
I just looked at her blog and she is having a constitution party where they are going to talk about restoring our country to the way our founding dads intended it to be. I wonder if she is going to insist that women have their right to vote rescinded. Women who care our founding "fathers" are really stupid.
was it 1920 when women were finally given the right to vote?
Typical Repug , simply dumb as a box of rocks , I don't think she even really knows what exactly she was protesting or why , she listens to her hubby who is no doubt a Limbaugh listening , Fox news watching wingnut . Like a good little Repug wife claims not to even know how much hubby and the family takes in . O'Donnell had a good time exposing what the " grass root " anti healthcare reform protesters amount to . This one was hilarious and pathetic at the same time .
and the rest of the MSM on this if they are so far left.
good question.
who comes to a town hall with talking points and questions printed out on a sheet of paper.
Of course they need to hide who they really are and what they represent to make themselves appear credible.
She's just another liar who doesn't know what the hell she's talking about.
A liar and a brain the size of a pea , she's a Repug alright .
Sorry if this is repeat from another thread...
... But it deserves it, if it is.
Dear President Obama,
http://www.thomhartmann.com/2009/08/16/dear-p...
Respectfully,
Thom Hartmann
I saw this referenced on The Hillbilly report.
It's well worth the 6-1/2 minutes to watch:
Uncovered
Who wrote the question this moron read to
the moron Senator Grassley?
It Grassley knows that all Senators and Congresspersons are covered for life by a single payer medicare like system!!!!!!
ok, we've heard from the angry few. Now it's time to do the right thing. Time to show support for a universal public option.
Eight more companies — including Allergan, Ally Bank, Best Buy, Broadview Security, CVS, Re-Bath, Travelocity, and Wal-Mart — have agreed to stop advertising on Glenn Beck’s Fox News show. Their announcements are in response to a ColorOfChange campaign after Beck said that President Obama is a “racist” with “a deep-seated hatred for white people.” A total of 20 companies have now pulled their advertising. “We support vigorous debate, especially around policy issues that affect millions of Americans, but we expect it to be informed, inclusive and respectful, in keeping with our company’s core values and commitment to diversity,” explained Carolyn Castel, Vice President of Corporate Communications for CVS Caremark.
