Is Tony Snow kidding? The war in Iraq has only hurt this country and has created more terrorists than there were before, so I ask Mr. Snow--if President Bush wasn't in office--wouldn't we be safer today? After all-- 9/11 happened when he was clearing brush on his farm. And does he feel that 60% of the country that do want us out of Iraq--are they just asking for it? Actually, what we're trying to do is fix Bush's fiasco.
Olbermann did great coverage tonight of Tony Snow's press conference from the "Western White House". Snow was, of course, spinning the Lieberman/Lamont race as it will be a boost to Osama and terrorism.
I wonder if Tony Snow will get a history lesson tonight. As a matter of fact, I wonder if he can remember who he worked for in 1991.
Snow: There seems to be two approaches, and in the Connecticut race, one of the approaches is ignore the difficulties and walk away. Now--when the United States walked away, in the opinion of the Osama bin Laden in 1991, OBL drew from that the conclusion that Americans were weak and wouldn’t stay the course and that led to September 11th.
