I stopped smoking weed on December 1, 1969 sitting in a desolate parking lot at the border between India and Pakistan after months in Afghanistan, where there was an awful lot of hashish. This song, however, brings back very fond, if ancient, memories. KRS-One introduced me to Mad Lion and we signed him to Reprise. He recorded a really great record-- and this song comes from those sessions-- but I don't think it ever came out commercially (at least not on Reprise).
