He's been a member of The Weavers, worked with Woody Guthrie and Lead Belly, and was even an activist for racial equality during the civil rights movement of the 20th century. The guy's done a lot for music and human progress, so it seemed appropriate to pay tribute to him here at the music club. Fortunately, he left behind a lot of great music for us to listen to, so here's one of the more memorable ones, "We Shall Overcome."

Got any favorite songs about a cause?
