A Brooklyn mother is suing after her 10-year-old boy was assaulted by a police officer for filming him with his mother's cell phone, according to a report from the New York Daily News.

Police were at Krystle Silvera's Flatbush residence searching for her ex-boyfriend in connection to violating an order of protection, the report said.

The cops began pounding on the door at 7 a.m. on Jan. 30, according to a lawsuit filed by Silvera. Her son, Courtney, took his mom's cell phone and started filming them after his grandmother opened the door.
