I did a sports talk podcast with Armando most of the football season and my before season prediction was that Seattle would meet Denver in the Super Bowl, so score one for me. I believe Armando picked New Orleans vs New England.
I then predicted that Seattle's defense would be able to manhandle Peyton's receivers enough to give Russell Wilson a chance to steal the Super Bowl, so my prediction is:
Oh, I almost forgot. The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be crashing Bruno's stage at half time.
On Sunday, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will give an even bigger hello to a worldwide audience watching Super Bowl XLVIII.
“I’ve never rehearsed so much for three minutes in my life,” RHCP drummer Chad Smith told CBS 2′s Don Champion on Saturday during WFAN radio’s “Big Hello to Brooklyn” concert at Barclays Center.
The Chili Peppers were a late addition to this year’s Super Bowl halftime show headlined by Bruno Mars at MetLife Stadium.
“There’s no pressure on us,” Smith said. “It’s his gig. We’re just gonna crash his gig for like three minutes and then we pop up and things blow up.”
