James O'Keefe, the creep learned his editing skills well from the late Andrew Breitbart. Simply edit the video to suit your needs and forget the rest. He put those criminal skills to use when he sandbagged a couple of Hollywood stars and a documentarian at the Beverly Hills hotel. To the conservative media it matters not that he selectively edited the footage to suit his ideological bent and own needs so long as they can embarrass lefties whenever possible. One of the people conned was actress, Mariel Hemingway. She joined Howie Kurtz on MediaBuzz to discuss the matter and how it felt to be victimized like that. Let me just say this. Although she was angry, Mariel was a lot kinder to O'Keefe than I would have been.
Hemingway: ...the other thing I find ironic is that Project Veritas, whom like that's how they do business, it's not how I do business, but they say that they set themselves up as an entity finds out dishonesty. They are trying to find who's being dishonest or hypocritical and yet they do this? They have a secret guy with, you know a fake guy. That's not dishonest. Ed Begley and I just showed up to be kind and support a friend and there was nothing we were doing that was dishonest or hypocritical.
Kurtz: So you have a real problem with the tactics that James O'Keefe uses through Project Veritas invariable poses as somebody else to entrap his targets.
Hemingway: It's a waste of everybody's time if he didn't have the courage to just come out and have a meeting with us and say I'm against you. Good, let's get face to face...Just say it, be up front . Be honest. And that is not honesty and that is being deceptive. That's trying to hurt somebody that hasn't done anything wrong.
Let's see. She called James O'Keefe a deceptive liar who's too cowardly to face her. That's just about describes Project Veritas perfectly.
