Laws like Stand Your Ground make it even harder for communities to deal with belligerent and dangerous assholes like this guy. Honestly, I'm surprised he didn't shoot anyone:

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A Daytona Beach man was arrested and charged with child abuse after he was alleged to have threatened two young boys because they're black.

Ronald White's neighbors told police that White yelled racial slurs at the children and told them he was going to have his dog eat them.

When Channel 9's Roy Ramos spoke with White, the man didn't deny accusation that he is a racist.

When Ramos asked about allegations that he threatened the children with his dog, White laughed. His neighbors at the Morris Town Apartments said they don't believe it is a laughing matter.

"I didn't put my hands on nobody. Get the (expletive) away," said White.

White, 51, recently bonded out of the Volusia County Branch Jail after he was arrested and charged with two counts of child abuse for allegedly poking a 10- and 11-year-old with his finger while calling them racial names.

"Get the (expletive) out of my way. I am a racist. I hate n*****," White told Ramos.

"He poked me with his finger in my head," one of the children told Ramos. "He kept saying, 'You need to wash off your dirty skin' and 'My skin is better than yours."

Residents in the community told Ramos that they have been dealing with White for six months. They said they believe White is proving to be a threat not only themselves, but the children in the area.
