It occurred to me while watching this rant that Judge Jeanine Pirro is supposed to sublimate the desires of Angry White Fox Viewers all over the country and channel their desire to order the President around. Or just berate him.
This week's harangue is about -- you guessed it -- Iraq, ISIS and Obama's foreign policy, which networks across the spectrum seem to have trouble understanding.
In this episode, She Who Lacks All Judicial Temperament orders the President to step to and get with her demands for how he should deal with the current crisis in Iraq. Because he is Obama Jesus, a wimp and a powerful Kenyan Muslim all in one:
I told you what you need to do two months ago:
"My resolution? Airstrikes. Bomb them, bomb them, keep bombing them, bomb them again and again. And I don’t care how long it takes. Just take out ISIS, take out their convoys and take out their troops."
It is true that Americans are war weary. Too many of us have loved ones killed or maimed in Iraq. But we were in Iraq then for the wrong reason! There were no weapons of mass destruction.
Today, it's different. This is a reverse crusade. Muslim extremists looking to kill Christians and Jews. Yes, today it's different, they are coming for us.
Um, so....Obama *is* bombing them. So what exactly is the issue here? I'm pretty sure she's upset because he's not bombing them enough. She wants more. Hell, even nukes if that's what it takes to keep those 10,000 extremists out of a population of millions out of our country.
Roger Ailes has found someone who looks and sounds scary and shrill enough to play right to his frightened viewers' sensibilities. I would say this woman has enough of a possessed demeanor to pull that off.
