This tune is a lot more downtempo and atmospheric than the first release from the new album, "Let It Happen." Tame Impala takes things down a notch, but keeps it groovy with this smooth jam. It seems to be more emulative of the '80s in the vein of vaporwave, unlike their previous material, which seemed to be more evocative of late '60s/early '70s psychedelic rock. Should be interesting to see where the rest of the album goes sound-wise considering the first two singles have been so different from one another.
