From the moderators ignoring Jeb Bush to Rand Paul blaming the entitlements budget deficit on your grandparents sexual frequency, the third Republican Presidential Primary Debate was a good one. We saw some sparks fly. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz shut those sparks down. Carly Fiorina got the most speaking time, for some reason. It was quite a show.
American democracy has become a spectacle, and that's ok. If people are entertained, maybe they'll participate with the same effort they put into voting for which crappy variety act has the most talent.
