But why would Guilfoyle care what military, diplomatic and intelligence teams say when she can talk like Donald Trump and possibly get a little something extra in her Fox News Christmas bonus for doing so?

Putin-fan Kimberly Guilfoyle offered up a solution for closing Guantanamo Bay prison that her hero would undoubtedly approve of.

On The Five, Guilfoyle and her cohosts discussed President Obama’s statement earlier in the day that closing Guantanamo Bay prison is part of the administration’s anti-terrorism strategy. “Guantanamo continues to be one of the key magnets for jihadi recruitment,” Obama said in his press conference. “We see the Internet traffic. We see how Guantanamo has been used to create this mythology that America is at war with Islam. And for us to close it is part of our counterterrorism strategy that is supported by our military, our diplomatic, and our intelligence teams.”

But why would Guilfoyle care what military, diplomatic and intelligence teams say when she can talk like Donald Trump and possibly get a little something extra in her Fox News Christmas bonus for doing so?

First, this newly-minted terrorism expert pronounced Obama’s terrorism-strategy a failure.

GUILFOYLE: He’s so bad, that’s not even like an F in a class. He’s got to repeat the year, because he’s soooo confused. Does he think, what’s his excuse going to be when he’s closed Gitmo and they’re all like, "jihadi-delight" together in Yemen and other places, like regrouping? What’s he going to blame it on then? That’s his counter terrorism strategy?

Cohost Geraldo Rivera tried to insert some sanity into the discussion.

RIVERA: You avoid the main point. Guantanamo Bay prison camp was invented to evade the Constitution of the United States. They wanted to have prisoners but in a place where they would be …protected from habeas corpus, they wanted a place where they’d have no Constitutional rights.

Predictably, Rivera was interrupted by other cohosts, including “patriotic” Greg Gutfeld who, apparently, is ready to toss out the Constitution. “The Constitution doesn’t apply when you’re at war with enemy combatants. This is a new turf,” he said with a smirk.

Later, Gutfeld shouted, “How is it [Gitmo] a recruitment tool? How is it a recruitment tool?”

“I agree! I agree!” Guilfoyle exclaimed. "Just kill them all and close Gitmo, that’s fine. They don’t have to come here, they don’t have to stay there."

In her most condescending voice, Guilfoyle announced – without bothering to offer anything like evidence – that Obama wants to close Gitmo “because he doesn’t like the idea of it. It doesn’t sit comfortably. Not because it’s a violation of habeas corpus or because they’re entitled to provisions of the Constitution of the United States of America. They are enemy combatants. They are not entitled. … Kill em!

In the first place, the Supreme Court has already ruled that the detainees have some habeas rights. More importantly, people with real terrorism mojo agree with President Obama. The Atlantic has a long list of examples of terrorist groups using Gitmo as a recruiting tool. It also quotes CIA head John Brennan, who I’ll bet knows a thing or two more on the subject than Guilfoyle and Gutfeld, combined. Brennan has said, “The prison at Guantánamo Bay undermines our national security, and our nation will be more secure the day when that prison is finally and responsibly closed.”

But why would Guilfoyle or Gutfeld listen to anybody like Brennan when they know which side of their Fox News bread is buttered?
