A Trump rally in Iowa turned rowdy as protesters shouted at Donald Trump during a speech. One brave person in the audience went a bit further and lobbed a tomato at him before being tossed out. You can see the toss in the first 10 seconds or so of the video above.
It gave its life in valiant service, as evidenced by the carcass pictured below.
"Andrew Joseph Alemao, 28, was arrested by University of Iowa Police for Disorderly Conduct after he was observed throwing two tomatoes at Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump during a speech," according to a news release from the University of Iowa.
Alemao was taken into custody by the Secret Service and members of the UI Police Department immediately after throwing the tomatoes at Trump, according to the release.
Also, he missed.
